Developing sound youth justice policy is dependent on people being in relationship with each other and developing a shared set of values. Our process was to deepen our relationships with community members in order to create justice.

The Policy Action Group developed a vision for what sound youth justice policy should look like and how to engage with communities and young people in order to develop these policies. This vision received input from the entire Create Justice community, including numerous young people.

The Policy Action Group also developed -- in collaboration with young people -- resources for how to engage youth in policy advocacy. The hope is that the process for creating this resource list also supports momentum for youth justice transformation.
